The Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) reported that over the past six hours, Saudel has moved northeast at 22 km/h (12 knots). Saudel is located 256 km south of Hong Kong.
Available meteorological data indicate that Saudel is regenerating; consequently, the JTWC has reissued a warning.
Maximum significant wave heights are reaching 5.5 meters (18 feet), the JTWC stated.
